Volcanic Eruption in Ecuador

Vulcanologists have given warning of an imminent volcanic eruption of Tungurahua volcano near Banos. Authorities fear that a volcanic eruption could cover the popular tourist city of Banos in ash / lava. Many Western Governments are advising tourists not to spend the night in Banos, the logic being that if the volcano erupts at night, casualty levels would be much higher than otherwise.
